Partnership Meeting with British Council EnglishScore
On Thursday, November 25th, 2021 Lembaga Bahasa Universitas Pamulang held a meeting with the representative of British Council English Score: Tony Gunawan as the Country Manager of British Council English Score in Indonesia, and Michelle Avelena as the Director of Global Development. The meeting discussed the partnership between Biritish Council and Lembaga Bahasa Universitas Pamulang.
English Score offers many benefits within the programme since many universities in Indonesia have been collaborating with them in case of IELTS tests for internal or external demands. In Indonesia, the test is currently used in Universitas Surabaya, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Universitas Atma Jaya, Universitas Kristen Maranatha, Universitas Negeri Makassar, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Universitas Pelita Harapan as the graduate requirement, similar to Universitas Pamulang which requires the students to have a TOEFL certificate. Yet, more than a certificate, the certificate of English Score is globally-accepted by campuses, offices, and also immigration need, since it is a new global test and certificate of English for employment from the British Council, and has more than 3 million new users per year across 150 countries.
